Earth

Earth is a selection of functional items all hand thrown out of white stoneware and Lava fleck clays. Most of their glazes are sourced from wood ash of various trees. Others I made with oxides resulting in these earthy and natural tones.

This collection is all about showing and appreciating the raw, coarse, and imperfect beauty of nature. It's also about having less, and using less. For me, this collection was about making every design decision intentional. Achieve efficiency, simplicity, transparency and use remains from nature as much as I could.
